One post.Four feeds.Right on time.

pickthepost schedules your photos, carousels and videos to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads and Bluesky. Each platform gets its own caption, cover and first comment, and a robot posts them at your time. No bots in your browser, ever.

Why we built it

No bots in your browser. Ever.

Tools that drive a browser can get accounts locked. pickthepost only uses each platform's official publishing API: the door Instagram, Meta and Bluesky open for apps. Slower to build, and the only way we want to do it.

Official API or browser bots?

Logs in as you in a hidden browser

Clicks through the app like a person would. Platforms read that as a bot.

Asks for your password

And keeps it somewhere you cannot see.

Official publishing APIs, nothing else

Instagram and Threads through Meta's APIs, Facebook through the Pages API, Bluesky through the AT Protocol.

Keys you can withdraw, stored encrypted

You approve pickthepost on the platform's own page. The key is encrypted and never shown, not even to us in the app.

Every platform gets its own version

Write it once. Fit every feed.

Threads stops at 500 characters, Bluesky at 300, Instagram at 2,200 and 30 hashtags. pickthepost counts the way each one counts (an emoji family is one character, as you see it) and makes a shorter version in one click. Try it.

Nothing you type here leaves your browser.

Carousels of up to 10

Drop your slides, drag them into order, and see them the way each feed shows them. Bluesky shows the first four, and pickthepost tells you so before you post.

First comments

A first comment goes up right after the post, the moment it is live.

Reels with the right cover

Slide to the frame you want as the Instagram cover. No more mid-blink thumbnails.

Posting slots

Set the times you like, say 09:00 on weekdays. New posts take the next free one.

Errors in plain words

Busy platforms are tried again by themselves. Anything that needs you says what happened and what to do.

Numbers that come to you

Likes and comments come back to your dashboard every hour for two days, then daily for a month, next to each post. Views too, where the platform shares them.

How it works

A robot that shows its work.

Every five minutes the robot looks for posts that are due and takes each platform through its steps. You can watch every step in the activity feed.

1
You schedule

Photos or a video, a caption per platform, a time or a slot.

2
Files go up

Checked against each platform's limits before anything is sent.

3
Platforms process

Instagram, Threads and Facebook prepare the media. The robot waits.

4
It goes live

Each platform on its own, so one slow feed never holds up the rest.

5
Then the follow-up

The first comment, the link to each post, and stats from the next hour on.

Built for AI agents

Your agent drafts. You decide.

pickthepost has had an API from its first day: it is how our own AI agents prepare posts. An agent can draft a post, check it and put it on the calendar; with drafts, nothing goes out until you schedule it.

From the makers of MoltenRock, where AI agents propose and people approve.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Which platforms does pickthepost post to?

Instagram (professional accounts), Facebook Pages, Threads and Bluesky, all through their official publishing APIs. TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and X are planned; each needs its platform's approval first, and we will only add them the official way.

Do you need my password?

No. Instagram, Facebook and Threads are connected through Meta's own sign-in, which gives pickthepost a key you can withdraw at any time in your Meta settings. Bluesky uses an app password: a separate password made only for apps, which you can delete in Bluesky without touching your real one.

How exact are the posting times?

The robot checks for due posts every five minutes, so a post goes out within five minutes of the time you pick. Platforms then take a little while to process videos; the post appears once they are done.

What happens when a platform says no?

Busy or temporary errors are tried again automatically, up to five times. Anything that needs you (an expired key, a file a platform refuses) shows in plain words in the app, with what to do. The other platforms are not held back: each one is posted on its own.

Can I change a post after scheduling it?

Yes, until it goes out: the text, the photos, the time and the accounts. Drag it to another day on the calendar, or open it and edit. You can also keep it as a draft, which waits until you schedule it.

Is it really no bots?

Really. pickthepost never opens a browser, never logs in as you and never clicks on your behalf. It talks to Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky the way their own developer documentation describes. That is slower to build and the only way we want to do it.

What will it cost?

Prices are not set yet. Early-access members hear first, and nothing is ever charged unless you choose a plan.

Who makes pickthepost?

Goldcote, the Swiss team behind MoltenRock, the secure AI agent suite for Mac, and Pick the site. We built pickthepost to post our own travel guides on @pickthetravel (pickthehotel, pickthebus), and we post with it ourselves.
